I enjoyed this pattern and have done three. The Caron Chunky Cupcake also came with the top ball for the beanie, which was nice. I chose to do the alternating color version, like the sample photo. The pattern starts at the lower ribbing. I found that if you start from the inside or the outside of the skein, the ribbing will be two different colors. You will get a far better outcome of coloring if you use the same color for the entire ribbing and then switch from inside and outside of skein for the color pattern.
