a year agoThis fox was easy and fun to knit. I think the "intermediate" rating is because the finishing (i.e. embellishments) requires serious attention. I wasn't in the mood that day and should have taken more care. That's on me, not the pattern or the designer!Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 1 of 1 QuestionQ: Is this pattern correct? I have checked it more than once and starting with the first increase it seems incorrect. After that increase, the number of stitches is 48, not 54. I have been knitting for well over 50 years and am puzzled.
7 months ago1 AnswerA: Thanks for reaching out on the Foxy Toy pattern. The designer chose to increase with an M1, which happens in the bar between the stitches (and doesn't use a stitch, unlike a kfb, knit in the front and back that consumes a stitch) I'm including a link to a video that shows the M1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wxoi4Bs3ao&t=15s As such, you will increase after knitting two stitches, adding an additional 18 stitches to your original count of 36. 36+18=54, so the stitch count is correct. We hope this gives you the clarity you need to move on. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions. Happy Knitting!
