5 months ago1 AnswerA: Yes, but it is important to note that even No Dye lot yarn can vary in color and texture. No dye lot means that we do not dye the yarn in-house. We order pre-dyed fiber in large quantities and spin it into different weights of yarn. Once this fiber stock is depleted, we order another large quantity of fiber. The shades may change slightly from batch to batch. All yarn has a production date or lot number on the ball band. To ensure the best results for your project, we recommend purchasing enough yarn with the same production date/lot number on the ball band.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: Is the Faded Denim color the same for both sizes (100g and 400g) of the Bernat Softee Chunky yarn? They look like quite different shades of blue on my screen.
7 months ago1 AnswerA: All yarn has a production date or lot number on the ball band. Those numbers are located near the bar code on the back side of the skein band. To ensure the best results for your project, we recommend you purchase enough yarn with the same production date/lot number on the ball band. If you are ordering online, please always double-check the product when received to make sure your dye lots match, as retailers cannot promise that they can always match dye lots, although they do their best. While the dye formula for these yarns is exactly the same, the dye lots will vary. As the two ball sizes are not made from the same batches, their dye lots are not the same.
