Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 1 of 1 QuestionQ: I have tried this pattern several times and cannot come out with a straight edge. The throw continues to shrink by one, or so it seems. I count all my stitches and have maintained my tension. Had a friend try and got same result. Help!
a year ago1 AnswerA: In the Red Heart Through Thick and Thin pattern, there will seem like the rows get smaller while working Row 2 instructions, but when you get back to Row 3 it will even out again. Perhaps, it would help you to use locking stitch markers to mark the first and last Ch-2 of each right side row as well as the first and last sc of each wrong side row so you’re sure to not miss one. At the end, a border will be added around the blanket to even out the edges. Mathematically, the pattern works. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
