Round three doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t work up properly. Restarted the pattern three times and ended up with the same result every time.

No, I do not recommend this product.

After round 2 of the Spider Web Table Mat, you should have 24 stitches. Just a reminder that you will not count the ch 2 at the beginning of each round as a stitch. When you join at the end of each round, you will join with the first stitch and ignore the ch 2 entirely. When you begin round 3, you will work your ch 2 and then work 2 hdc in the same stitch the ch 2 is coming from. Then, you will work 1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc. This is the repeat: *2 hdc in next hdc. 1 hdc in next 2 hdc. You have 24 stitches at the beginning of the round with one increase each 3 stitches. This will be a total of 8 stitches increased.

Not an "easy" pattern. Something not right.

Definitely something not right about this pattern. I would not consider myself a beginner, I have been crocheting for 3 years, and I have tried this pattern 4+ times also. It does not match up. Advertising this as easy and for beginners is ridiculous

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Confusing Instructions

I have attempted this 4 times now, and frogged each time. I don’t understand the v stitch instructions with the number of HDC between each v stitch. The # of HDC between each starting row 5 doesn’t work out for me. I must be missing something. Wish there was a video tutorial.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for reaching out. The V stitch will always be worked into the ch-1 sp of the V stitch from the previous round. Keep in mind that in the next round you will also work into the hdc of the V stitches. Sometimes these can be hard to see but this is where the additional hdc between the V stitches come from. We hope this helps. Try searching YouTube for a tutorial using the phrase Spider Web Crochet Table Mat.
