a year agoPattern was clear and easy to follow. Easy to get into a rhythm with the loop stitch. The pattern suggests a wooden dowel to support the neck. I would say this is a need. Without the head was fairly floppy even with dense stuffing, The dowel fixed it. Its a great toy for an older kid or a wonderful decor piece for a kids room or nursery.Helpful?Clarity of Pattern, 5.0 out of 5Poland4 out of 5 stars.Beautiful, not so easy, great decoration!
3 months agoIt is certainly a beautiful thing, but it is not easy to make. The loop stitch is tedious and is additionally made more difficult by working in a round. While in the case of the head, body and neck I overworked in rounds, I gave up the legs, ears and tail - made them flat and then sewed them together. This was the first time I worked both with the loop stitch and changing colours one row at a time. The neck and head will not stay in place without support, which is why I consider the llama to be a decoration, not a toy. It is truly phenomenal, but it requires a lot of patience and work.Yes, I recommend this product.
