Free Intermediate Knit Baby Blanket Pattern

Zigzag chevrons make this knit lace blanket a cherished treasure to be appreciated for years. It's worked in one piece using circular needles, so there's very little finishing. Just weave in your ends and present it to a lucky new mom and baby. Red Heart Soft Baby Steps gives it a nice sheen that really shows off the stitches. Simply choose the shade that speaks to you, and let's begin!

I made this in 2023 and found it an engaging knit however it took me 10 inches of knitting to really understand the pattern.

There is no way this yarn makes this blanket. I matched guage perfectly and the stitches are not tight enough to produce this.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: When I compare the lace pattern instructions to the knitting chart it seems to me that the first row instructions relate to the row number 2 on the chart. I believe that the chart needs to be re-numbered. Am I correct about this?
