    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Problems. 1) 6 sizes but sleeves only 5, and size color coding changes - so what are correct numbers for each size? 2) Neckband pick up numbers are definitely not correct - too many stitches along fronts and too few along back neck. PLEASE HELP!!!

    1 Answer

A: Thank you for letting us know about the problem in the sleeve section of the Every Day Knit Cardigan. We will be forwarding that information on to the design team, and we will get back to you as soon as we have an answer. In the meantime, since all the measurements are included in the schematic and there is a cast on quantity given for each of the sizes, you can work the increases specified for one of the sizes until you have the desired width of fabric. As to the issue about quantities for picking up stitches, I did a quick gauge calculation. At 19 stitches for 4 inches, the pick-up stitches in front should span 28-29.5" depending on the size. Since the picking up begins at the bottom of the front at the cast on edge, this makes sense. The back neck section of 34 stitches should create about 7 " of fabric. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 6 weeks to get an answer back from our design team. We know that this can delay your project, and we apologize.
