a year agoI have struggled with this pattern and finally after 12 attempts have what I hope is helpful information. Row 2 should be dc, making Row 4 much easier for fpdc 2 rows below. In the Nov 2023 there seems to be a mistake in Row 7: you only do one popcorn between the 3 fpdc. This is a wedding gift for my son and fiancée and they chose the pattern. Good luck to others trying to follow this pattern.Helpful?Response from Yarnspirations:a year agoConsumer CareThis pattern has been updated and is available for download.Response from Yarnspirations:a year agoConsumer CareThank you for sharing your experience with the Comforting One Color Throw. Stitch choice (sc vs dc), especially when working post stitches can definitely make it easier or more difficult to work but will also change the look of the final fabric. And, you have indeed identified an error in the row 7 written instructions. Row 7 can be worked the same as row 3, or by using the schematic. We will forward this information to the design team for further review. -

a year ago1 AnswerA: Row 5: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 5 sc. *Skip next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 dcfp around next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 sc in next sc. 1 dcfp around skipped dcfp 2 rows below. (this section you are working crossed stitch worked in the stitches in row 3) (1 sc in next sc. 1 dcfp around each of next 3 dcfp 2 rows below) twice. [here the front post stitches are worked in row 3 but there are no crosses.] 1 sc in next sc. Skip next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 dcfp around next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 sc in next sc. 1 dcfp around skipped dcfp 2 rows below. (Again crossed stitches worked in row 3). 1 sc in each of next 9 sc. Rep from * 3 times. 1 skip next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 dcfp around next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 sc in next sc. 1 dcfp around skipped dcfp 2 rows below. ( another crossed stitch section.) (1 sc in next sc. 1 dcfp around each of next 3 dcfp 2 rows below) twice. 1 sc in next sc. Skip next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 dcfp around next dcfp 2 rows below. 1 sc in next sc. 1 dcfp around skipped dcfp 2 rows below. (last crossed stitch section. 1 sc in each of last 5 sc. Turn. 50 dcfp and 71 sc. A double crochet front post stitch is just a double crochet stitch, but it is worked around the post, not into the loops at the top of the stitch.
