    Wonderful Blanket

    I made this pattern about 10 years ago, and gave it to my aunt who was in a nursing home. She LOVED it, but one of the other people stole it. It was a wonderful blanket! Pretty colors, easy stitches, and warm!

The modifications you are inquiring about would require re-writing the pattern and regrettably, this is not a service our design team provides. You may be able to find someone locally or online if you don't feel comfortable doing them on your own. If our Design Team moves forward with your suggestion, it may be quite some time before it would be available, as typically new designs are planned out a few years in advance. This crochet pattern is designed using a multiple of 6 stitches plus 2 chains. To customize the size of the project, you can simply adjust the number of chains in the foundation row.     Q: This is a beautiful blanket. Is the yarn fastened off after each color change in the body of the blanket or is it carried up the side? For the border it states to fasten off each round. Just want clarification.

    A: We recommend cutting the yarn when you are finished with a particular color since the gap between when a color is used again is so far away. We hope you enjoy your project!
