    Q: When doing the leg, am I supposed to turn after each round, or continue in a circle? It doesn’t say to turn, but I don’t understand why I would join if I’m just going around each time and not turning.

    A: When making your Monogram Stocking, the instructions do not specify turning at the end of each row on the leg. This was a creative choice made by the designer. Joining allows for full rounds to be completed, and without it, the pattern forms a spiral. As the maker, you are always welcome to make changes to the pattern.
