2 years agoCame out just the way I wanted. It looked a little wonky when I first started stitching but stick with it, it all came out very even. A little hard to understand at first but it’s a diagonal pattern I’m not used to. I did have to buy an extra skein in each color and it didn’t come out as long as I hoped but I stitch pretty tight. (40x57). 6 blocks for pink and yellow. 10 blocks for brown and grey. 18 blocks for black.Yes, I recommend this product.

At the beginning of the pattern, the shape of this blanket is created by building up a triangle from the corner, with each row getting longer. So, in answer to your question, no the beginning row is not the same length as the width of the pattern.
