    Flexible design

Pretty good pattern and not too difficult. I made two, the first with super chunky similar to project and the second with three woven cotton sock yarns. The 10” busk was too small for the first and replaced with a 12” busk. For the second the 10” was used but the pattern was reduced by 10 stitches to fit better. Both busks did not have pegs long enough to stick out above the yarn to clasp properly but that’s probably my fault for buying off Amazon.

Pretty good pattern and not too difficult, the only thing to watch for is the busk. I made two, the first with a super chunky similar to the pattern and the second with three cotton sock yarns woven together. The 10” busk was too short for the first and needed at least a 12”. The second had the 10” but it was reduced by 10 stitches to fit better with the busk. Neither one of the busks I bought had pegs long enough to pop through the yarn but that’s my fault for buying cheap.

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: What is the name of the silver clasps at the front? I’m trying to find some to buy but they’re not mentioned in the pattern

    1 Answer

A: The silver clasps at the front are the corset busk. You need a 10" [25.5 cm] steel corset busk for this pattern. You can find these details in the materials section of the pattern.

Q: Little question from a poor girl, can I sell the final product? I am asking because I don't usually wear corset and I will have too much busk for the one I want to make.

Q: There is a mistake in the pattern in the section of things you need. The two pieces of 12,5 cm boning and the four pieces of 18 cm boning of 1/4” wide are 6mm, not 65mm (which would be 6,5 cm wide boning). Boning comes in 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, etc etc.

A: Thank you so much for pointing out this typo on the Crochet Corset Belt. We will pass the information on to the design team for further review.
