About Annette Millard

My own stitching began about the age of three sewing buttons on doll clothes. I learned embroidery at five along with knitting and crochet, made my first dress at ten and was given my own sewing machine at twelve. I am forever indebted to my mother and the other precious women who passed on to me the gifts of creativity and inspiration that have made my journey joyful.

Since 2021, my hubby, Zoey the Australian Terrier, and I live in a cabin in the Cascade Mountains of WA state near the Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth. It’s an amazing privilege to live here enjoying our forested acreage and the beautiful scenery we see every day. Summers are warm and lusciously green, Winters are cold and snowy and we absolutely love our new mountain life!

I'm always happiest with fabric and fiber in my hands!
