Helpful?Quality of Product, 1.0 out of 5Value of Product, 1.0 out of 5Response from Yarnspirations:2 months agoConsumer CareWe are sorry the pattern was not clear to you. Working the yoke, the first row is worked across the front, the sleeve, the back, the next sleeve, and the other front. YOKE 1st row: (WS). With larger circular needle,P11 (12-13-14-16) for left front. PM. P18 (20-22-24-26) for left sleeve. PM. P25 (27-29-31-35) for back. PM. P18 (20-22-24-26) for right sleeve. PM. P11 (12-13-14-16) for right front. 83 (91-99-107-119) sts. This brings all of the stitches together and then you work the yoke for the entire garment at one time. -

I’ve read through the Q&A section, yet I still cannot find the answer: when do I attach the sleeves? After I finish the YOKE section and just before I start on COLLAR & BANDS? And do I sew them on or knit? Thank you.
a year ago1 AnswerA: Pattern states to add them just before sewing on the buttons. But you can add them at any time. Instructions state to graft them on (using kitchener stitch)
a year agoHelpful?Q: Re the Bernat Shawl Collar, I need some clarification. Am I picking up the stitches from the piece i started before making the sleeves?
a year ago1 AnswerA: When you get to the collar, you should only have one piece, everything joined together looking like a cardigan, just missing the collar and button bands. Yes, you will be picking up stitches starting where you cast on the body, around where the neckline goes and back down to the original cast on spot.
a year agoHelpful?Q: At what point do I attach the sleeves?? The instructions are unclear after knitting the sleeves when/how to attach them, etc. If this is a beginner sweater the instructions should be clear. Please help.
a year ago1 AnswerA: The sleeves are incorporated under the Yoke section: 1st row: (WS). With larger circular needle, P11 (12-13-14-16) for left front. PM. P18 (20-22-24-26) for left sleeve. PM. P25 (27-29-31-35) for back. PM. P18 (20-22-24-26) for right sleeve. PM. P11 (12-13- 14-16) for right front. 83 (91-99-107-119) sts Note that just before this you will have left 4 stitches per sleeve on a safety pin. These are for the underarms and will be matched up with the stitches you left on a safety pin at the start of the Divide for Back and Fronts. You will come back to these at the end of the project. We hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact us at inquire@yarnspirations.com for further assistance.
