a year ago1 AnswerA: Many of the colors in our multi-colored yarns are specific to that item, designed to be unique shades and not offered as a standalone color. Unfortunately, we do not have a solid ball recommendation as color choice can be personal. It is also difficult to capture the true color online so if possible, we would recommend that for best results, take your multicolored yarn to a shop and compare against solid colors in-person.

a year ago1 AnswerA: It is not possible through us, but you may be able to purchase yarn from the same production run Although we are unable to match or source dye lots, we do have a few suggestions when someone is searching for a specific lot: 1. Return to the shop where you bought the yarn, bring your existing yarn and skein band, and compare/contrast to determine if they have the same lot available. If not, you can compare the yarn itself (especially next to windows/natural light) to look for any differences across lots. 2. Visit Etsy.com and eBay.com and search for the yarn you're interested in. Click on the listings and look at the photos posted by the seller. They typically show the back side of the skein band with the dye lot/production date information. From there, you can determine if the lots available match yours. Although it's recommended to use the same dye lot for your entire project, we realize this is not always possible for crafters. In that case, you have some problem-solving options in case the yarns aren't matching well: • Try working 2 rows from one dye lot and then 2 rows from the other dye lot, carrying the yarn that you are not working with up the side of your project, rather than cutting it at the end of every row. This technique can minimize the influence of working with different lots and give a more uniform/intentional look to your finished piece. • Use color-blocking with a different, complementary color to separate the existing yarns and minimize the appearance of difference • Consider changing the stitch pattern to trick the eye into thinking the difference is a result of stitching • Shorten the project (i.e., don't use another lot) We hope this information has been helpful!

a year ago1 AnswerA: When using a pattern, the amount of yarn required assumes that the gauge is the same. If the gauge the pattern is worked up in is not the same as the designer's gauge, there is a very good likelihood of running out of yarn. As this yarn is still in production, we do recommend getting more locally to ensure the production date hasn't effected the color enough to effect your blanket.

We would like to assure you that extensive research goes into how well a colorway is selling before such a decision is made. We have checked our inventory and no longer have available stock to offer. You may wish to try locating some at retailers like Michaels, Joann Stores, or WalMart, and also consider searching eBay.com, Etsy.com, and Amazon.com, as well as Ravelry stashes. a year ago1 AnswerA: The colors formulated for our variegated and ombres yarn are specific to that color and not available in solid shades. We suggest the colors aran or soft white in the Supersaver line as an accent to your project. Unfortunately, we do not have a similar coral color.

a year ago1 AnswerA: Thanks for your question. The colorway Jazzy is created with yarn that fades from bright pink/fuschia to pale pink and then back again. There is not a colorway in the the Red Heart Super Saver Ombre line called Fuschia although the Jazzy colorway does include a color that could be considered fuschia.
