5 months agoI am crocheting a child's blanket and this yarn us is soft and excellent for this project. It is a bit open to 'catching' so the hook has to be accurate...but then this pattern involves a lot of 'bobs' where there are five crochets in one loop...so .kind of crowded. On the whole..lovely.Yes, I recommend this product.

8 months ago1 AnswerA: We are required by law to have all products tested by an external laboratory prior to launch to ensure they meet Federal health and safety guidelines. Our products are not treated or dyed with any epoxy or varnish compounds, nor do we use Urea Formaldehyde Resin or Disperse blues. None of our dyes are animal-derived, and we do not use PFAS (Perfluoroalkyl or Polyfluororoalkyl) in our products. Our products are not tested for flame resistance, as they are not flame retardant. Red Heart Soft Baby Steps yarn is Oeko-Tex certified.
