4 months agoThis pattern is not written to recreate the item shown in the pics. It’s close, but this pattern is like when you ask someone for their special recipe and they purposely leave out their secret ingredient. You get the basic idea, but it’s not the same. I had to rework the wings, beak, and legs to get the same look. Yes, I used the exact yarn and hook size recommended. The written pattern simply does not match up. If you know your way around crochet, it’s manageable with some tweaks, but if you’re a new crocheter, this pattern is not for you.No, I do not recommend this product.
Helpful?Quality of Product, 2.0 out of 5Value of Product, 4.0 out of 5Response from Yarnspirations:4 months agoConsumer CareThank you for your feedback regarding the Let’s Talk Turkey Silverware Holder. You are correct that the wings do not work up to look like the sample when worked according to the pattern. We have forwarded the information to our design team. We have tested the beak and feet to double-check, and they do work to look like the sample. Due to the natural twist in the stitches for the feet, the photo may make the feet appear smaller. We hope you like your turkeys! -
