Q: After working the number of rows to repeat (Row 2) for the neckband the instructions state change to B color. The BODY portion states after Row 3 to change to B color. You are already working with the B color . Isn't this an error in the instructions?

A: Thank you for pointing out this typo on the La-di-da Dog Sweater. It should read color C, and then per the pattern notes, beginning at the end of Row 3 of Body, change to the next color in the color sequence at the end of every other row. We will be forwarding your information to the design team for further review.

Q: I think there might be a mistake with the pattern. On the last row of the Left Underbody it says not to fasten off and to start the first row of the Back across all sts. but the only way to do that is to fasten off and start on the Right Underbody side.

    1 Answer

A: When making the Left Underbody of the La-Di-Da Dog sweater, you will begin Row 1 by working on the wrong side (inside) of the sweater as follows: Row 1 (wrong side): With wrong side facing, skip next 3 (5, 7) sts of Row 5 of Body….” You will be working into Row 5 of the body again for this section. The last row you will work will be a right side (public side of the sweater) row which will allow you to work around the back stitches after. If this is not the case for you, you may have gotten off track somewhere. We recommend double checking that you joined and worked the first row of the Left Underbody as a wrong side row. If so, have you worked enough rows or too many rows for the Left Underbody? The pattern has no known errors, and there are about 20 finished projects that we can see. We hope the advice we have given you is just what you need to get back on track. However, if you need additional help to figure it out, we are here for you.
