3 months ago1 AnswerA: When working your Baby Bear Crochet Hoodie, when the instructions tell you that the Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), that mean when you encounter it at the end of the row, you should always work it as though it its a dc throughout the pattern.
3 months agoHelpful?Q: I don’t understand: Body, row 1 instructions. After the ch 4, what do you do? Is there a video?
5 months ago1 AnswerA: While we do not have a video tutorial for the Baby Bear Crochet Hoodie, we are happy to help you divide the body and the sleeves. In the first row of the Body, you will be dividing the body and sleeves. By the end of the row, you will be able to see the stitches for the body and the stitches which will become the sleeves. Note: At this point, there are 17 (19-21) sts for each Front, 26 (30-34) sts for each Sleeve and 32 (36-40) sts for Back. BODY 1st row: (RS - Dividing row): Ch 3. *1 dc in each dc to next ch-2 sp. 1 dc in next ch-2 sp. Now, you will chain 4. These stitches will be worked as part of the body at the underarm as you continue to work the body. When it says to skip all stitches of the next Sleeve, this means you will skip 26 (30-34) sts for each Sleeve according to the note above as per the size you are making. Ch 4 for underarm. Skip all sts of next Sleeve. 1 dc in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * once more. 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Turn. 70 (78-86) dc and 2 ch-4 sps. Now, you have divided the body and sleeves. You’re all set!
