11 months agoI love the pattern, not too keen on the color choice, BUT, I decided to tap into my creative thinking juices and found that you can achieve the same effect of the pattern by using the Red Heart Color Block skeins! With the color block skeins I got the variegated look along with patches of solid colors without having to constantly tie off all the color changes. And by using the color block skeins I was able to bypass the color changing instructions for rounds 14-25 and rounds 29-38.Yes, I recommend this product.

a year agoI like the circular throws because it doesn’t show if you need to get a second dye lot. I don't like the colors shown, but I thought the pattern looked interesting. I made 2, one with two shades of pink plus cream and another with 2 shades of purple plus cream. I did stripes, with the darker color as my main color. It took a lot of time and I’m a fast worker. The center went quickly, but once I got to the outer rounds, it was taking almost 2 hours to get around the edge. If you find a mistake and have to rip, that's a lot of work wasted. I used the With Love yarn for both and the throws are lovely.Yes, I recommend this product.

2 months ago1 AnswerA: Let’s take a closer look at Round 6 of the 7 Point Star Throw. — First, you will join in a ch-2 space of any of the seven points. Round 6: Join A in any ch-2 space; ch 3, — Next, the repeat begins. You will work the increase twice and then work the dec3 twice, but be sure to skip the dec3 from the previous round (this is the lowest “dip” between points). Then, increase twice again. * [inc] twice, dec3 (skipping dec3 of previous round), [inc] twice **, (dc, ch 2, dc) all in ch-2 space; repeat from * to last space, — The last repeat ends at the double asterisks. end at **; dc in last space; ch 1, hdc in top of ch-3 to join and form last space – row ended. We hope this explanation helps you through Round 6! Happy stitching!
2 months agoHelpful?Q: I was curious if anyone could clarify round 4 on this pattern? I’m counting the stitches as I go and I’m always off on the count by one or four stitches. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I've repeatedly had to go back and redo it.
3 months ago1 AnswerA: We’re happy to clarify Round 4 of the 7-Point Star Throw for you! Let’s take a look. Note: 1) Ch-3 at the beginning of the round counts as a dc. 2) “inc” is worked by working 2 dc in next dc Round 4: Join A in same st as joining, ch 3, dc in next dc, —Next up is the repeat for the round inside the brackets. You will work the instructions inside the brackets over and over until you have worked them 6 times. You will work into 7 sts for each repeat and end up with 9 sts when you have finished a repeat. [inc, dc in next 3 dc, inc, dc in next 2 dc] 6 times, —Finish working the remaining stitches. inc, dc in next 3 dc, inc; join – 63 dc. We hope this is just what you need to have success with Round 4. Happy stitching!
