Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 3 of 3 QuestionsQ: Could you explain how to complete the sleeves after you connect the chain 4 peices?
10 months ago1 AnswerA: On the I Heart My Dress Pattern, you are using a new piece of yarn to create a gap for the underarm when you add the chain 4. Once these stitches are added, you continue to work in the round, skipping the sleeve stitches and working into the chain 4 under the arm. Later in the pattern, when the instructions for the sleeves are given, you will begin with these underarm stitches, and work the sleeve stitches in the round. You will work into the other side of these same chain 4 to work the sleeves. I hope this gives you the clarity you need. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
10 months agoHelpful?Q: Just confirming after row 1 you cut that yarn and start another row for row 2? Then it says to join I guess I’m unsure on that part or how?
11 months ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out! The first six rows should be worked on the right side only since there is a button opening at the center back. After that, join the body into the round. To achieve this, work row 1 on the right side, then break the yarn and join again at the beginning of the row, ensuring the work remains on the right side. Repeat this process for the next 5 rows, but do not break the yarn at the end of row 6.
11 months agoHelpful?Q: The pattern doesn’t say how to close the back seam?.?.
a year ago1 AnswerA: The dress is worked in one piece, back and forth for the first six rows to allow for a button band to be added. Then, it is joined in the round so you can work seamlessly. DRESS Notes: • Dress is worked in one piece beg at neck edge. • Center back has an opening for buttons, then Body is joined into rnd. • Slightly puffed short sleeves are worked in rnds. For instructions to finish the neck and add the button band at the back, the FINISHING instructions are on page 4 of the pattern.
