Confusing and Very Difficult to Understand

I consider myself a beginning knitter and I found this pattern extremely confusing. There are random blocks inserted in between row instructions that just have stitch names (ie "k2tog or "purl"). It is not clear at all if I am supposed to do that stitch at exactly that moment or if the designer sporadically inserted instructions on how to do different types of stitches. If it is the latter, those instructions should be at either the beginning or the end of the pattern, NOT placed in the middle and interrupting the pattern row instructions. This was so confusing that I actually went with a more difficult, yet standardized pattern, and it was far EASIER to understand and work with.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We appreciate the time you took to try the pattern and the time took to provide feedback. The photos are provided for those who do not know what the instruction means. We will pass on your feedback.

Revised pattern is way too long

This pattern is easy to follow, but my low rating is because of the unnecessarily long pattern, same as the previous review. I came here to verify something on this original as my printed copy’s green lettering (for adult size) is hard to read.  When I print out pattern, I have to do it at the library where I am charged per page. I don’t want the extra pages. Might be a good idea to offer your subscribers a choice on whether they want to download the simple pattern, or one with many illustrations. I love the huge variety of patterns on this site and hope they’ll continue to be easy to read, print and follow along with!

    TOO BASIC

I do not like the new format for this pattern. It was 2 pages, landscape, and perfect for following and making notations. I do not need the pictures on the new 8-page version. Can I get a file with the old pattern? I cannot find mine.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for your feedback on our beginner pattern layout. While not the best for a seasoned knitter, the new layout is to help those brand new to knitting to be successful. We have reached out directly regarding the old pattern.
