Love the texture and professional look of this blanket. Currently one third complete. Only issue so far is errors in pattern instructions. 5th row should read: *1 sc in each of next 7 sts. Bobble in next skipped stitch at 2 rows below. 1 sc in each of next 3 sts. Bobble in next skipped stitch at 2 rows below…. 8th row should read: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of in each of first 8 sts….

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: I'm struggling with row 8 instructions. I understand chain 5 I don't understand 1 double crochet inside of next single crochet row. Please explain

    1 Answer

A: Thank you for your interest in this pattern. The border instruction states, "Ch 5 (counts as dc and ch-2 sp). 1 dc in side of next sc row." This means that after completing chain 5, instead of working 1 double crochet (dc) on top of the last row, you are working on the edge or side of the previous single crochet (sc) row.
