I’m not sure if I’m just reading the pattern wrong or what, but I did not have 168 stitches on my needles at the end of the yoke, and I sure didn’t have 34 stitches for the arms. I think the pattern could be wrong, or I’m reading it wrong, or it’s just hard to understand.

For the Knit Top Down Baby Raglan Pullover, it looks like you are making the smallest size. You begin with 64 stitches and use a make 1 increase, which is done between the stitches. Here is a video for a M1 increase in case you are not familiar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wxoi4Bs3ao It is important that you do not do a knit in the front and the back, or your stitch counts will not work out. Eight stitches are increased on round, 2 in each body section and two in each sleeve section. Doing the math, you should have 168 stitches (eight stitches x 13 repeats = 104 stitches; 104+64=168) The increases are worked a total of 13 times in each section. For the sleeves, you start with 8 stitches, do 13 increases of two stitches each leaving you with 34 stitches for the sleeves. The pattern is correct. We hope this clears up how the stitches are worked.
