2 months ago1 AnswerA: Although both worsted weight yarns, Caron Simply Soft and Caron One Pound are different products, both in texture and twist. Caron Simply Soft is considered a premium product with extreme softness, which Caron One Pound is considered an economy yarn. Both, however, are excellent choices for household decor such as afghans, etc.

4 months ago1 AnswerA: It depends on size, which craft, and what stitches are used. 1 skein will do a baby or dog sweater. An adult sweater would require approximately 3 to 6 skeins.

Unfortunately, we do not have a solid ball recommendation as color choice can be personal. It is also difficult to capture the true color online so if possible, we would recommend that for best results, take your multicolored yarn to a shop and compare against solid colors in-person. Or alternatively choose an unrelated color (white, grey, black, silver) as a contrast color instead.

You may wish to try locating some at retailers like Michaels, Joann Stores, or WalMart, and also consider searching eBay.com, Etsy.com, and Amazon.com, as well as Ravelry stashes. Many sellers post our products for sale on those sites and inventory is updated frequently. The closest color to that would be Cape Cod Blue.
