2 months agoI like Susan Bates crochet hooks. the first set I bought was made in Mexico- it was stamped on each hook. I checked the "box" (or whatever the holder is are called) they came in. it came from China. I would love to see it made in America. I have one very old steel crochet hook made from another company. it just says the name of the company and next to the name is "U.S.A."Yes, I recommend this product.

a year agoI bought this hook to make the gingham baby blanket with as it was listed as an accessory along with the appropriate yarn. Thankfully, I had since purchased a set of hooks that included a #8 which is much smoother. The Susan Bates hook has sharp edges and makes it hard for the yarn to glide to through when making the granny squares. No, I do not recommend this product.
