6 months ago1 AnswerA: This yarn is a 3 ply bulky yarn with fuzz. Best substitute is Red Heart Hygge https://www.yarnspirations.com/collections/yarn/products/red-heart-hygge-yarn-227g-8oz
6 months agoHelpful?Q: Your written instructions are confusing. On page 2, after Row 6 it says repeat rows 5 & 6. It should read that you complete the 14 rows of the heart panel patterns & THEN repeat from row 5 & work that 10 row repeat (5-14) till you're done the shawl.
2 years ago1 AnswerA: The pattern is accurate as written though. Row 7 says to repeat those two rows while working the next row of each Heart Panel pattern in each row. The reason it says to only repeat 5 and 6 while also working the next row of the panel is because all the previous rows are set up only rows. The pattern repeat is odd rows work the pattern and even rows are only seed stitch or purled. While the Heart Panel is 14 rows, the body set up and establishing of seed stitch borders is that initial 6 (so you're working a pattern within a pattern). By telling the knitter to work rows 5 and 6 of the body while progressing the heart panel pattern, the designer was attempting to simplify the language for ease of reading. We hope this clears it up a bit and that you're able to complete your project!
