a year ago1 AnswerA: We are happy to help you with the picot edge of your Red Heart Simply Alluring Shawl. Let’s take a look at the last round of the edging. Round 2: *Ch 3, picot, 3 dc in same st, skip next 2 hdc, sl st in next hdc; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in base of first ch-3—142 picots. Fasten off. *You will start by chaining 3. Next, you will work a picot which says to chain 4 and then sc in 4th chain from hook. After that, you will work 3 dc in same stitch (the chain you just worked the sc into). Skip the next 2 hdc from round 1 and slip stitch into the next hdc from round 1. Repeat from the * around, joining with a slip stitch in the base of the first Ch 3. I hope this helps you finish your shawl. Please don’t hesitate to contact us again should you need more help. Happy finishing!
