    This basket is both cute and functional. Leave the eyes off and you have a nice basketweave basket, but add the eyes, and you create an adorable owl that will make you smile whenever you see him! I found the instructions very well written and easy to follow - but that's no surprise because it's one of Michele Wilcox's designs! I've made many of her patterns in the past and she did not disappoint with this one! I did do mine a little different. When holding 2 stands, I used one main color for the first strand and then for the second strand, I used up some of my scrap yarns. It turned out cute and colorful and helped tame my stash just a tiny bit.

    Red Heart It's a Hoot Owl Container is super cute! I am enjoying this project. The step by step instructions for the pattern are very easy to follow. This is my very first pattern that i have tried. It was very easy to understand and follow. I cant wait to start my next project!
