7 months agoThe free pattern is good but I do not understand how the back ends.Helpful?Response from Yarnspirations:7 months agoConsumer CareThe back of the Red Heart Easy Favorite Sweater is knitted from the bottom hem up to the shoulders. It ends with the shoulder shaping as follows: Shape Shoulders: Working all in St st, bind off 9 (10, 11, 12, 13) sts beg of next 6 rows. Put rem 29 (31, 33, 35, 37) sts on a holder. By binding off these stitches at the beginning of the next 6 rows, the shoulders will have a gentle curve to them. The stitches which are held on a stitch holder are for the neck, which will be worked later. I hope this helps you envision the construction of this sweater. -

Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 1 of 1 QuestionQ: I'm making this sweater and am having some issues with the sleeves. For the yoke pattern increase (sleeves), the stitch numbers don't work out evenly in the p3, k5, p3 section or the k4, p3 (k5, p3), k4 section. I'm ending up with extra stitches.
3 months ago1 AnswerA: We have checked and confirmed the accuracy of the numbers for all sizes of the Easy Favorite at the sleeve yoke section. For the pattern to work, the stitch counts at the beginning of the sleeve yoke include the increases that you will be making at the beginning and end of the row. We apologize for any confusion that this has caused.
