    Q: I don’t understand the instructions to fold headband lengthwise and see edges together. Do you mean connect the entire length of the band. I don’t understand the part about twisting and connecting the ends. My finished piece is a 21” x 11” rectangle.

    A: As you currently have it, you have a long rectangle of fabric. Fold it in half so the two ends are stacked on one another. Next, lift the top one and give it a twist, lying it back down with the opposite side of the fabric facing upward. This gives a single twist to the headband. You can now sew the ends together.
