2 years agoI have been Crocheting since 1972 and have been using Susan Bates hooks for the majority of those. I like the fact that the hooks goes into stitches smoothly without snags or split stitches. The heads of the hooks are made so you don’t get those split stitches. I’ve tried other brands with the pointy ends but they all have disappointed me. It’s disheartening to get to the end of a project to find out you have to frog it because of split stitches and that your work is hanging on by a thread so I will always use Susan Bates.Helpful?- Verified Purchaser
