Villa Rica, GA5 out of 5 stars.Beautiful colors, but not a great frog experience

a year agoThis yarn has the most gorgeous colors I’ve ever seen in a skein of yarn. With the right stitch, the thickness variation adds to the charm of this yarn. Beware, though, because it is definitely NOT frog friendly. If you need to frog your project, be very patient as every other stitch will snag, but it’s so worth it!Yes, I recommend this product.

a year agoI came across a project I’d done with this yarn, Lost in Time shawl. I made it four years ago and put it away. When I pulled it out to look for things to donate to an animal rescue I thought it might work. I posted it online in my feed and within three hours it sold for $300. The rescue was thrilled. Yes it can be a pain to frog. But it is gorgeous yarn. I could use yarn that was easy to frog but not so pretty. It is a choice. I had been crocheting for two years when I made the shawl. I accepted the challenge of yarn that was difficult to work with. I am so glad I did. It helped me become a better crocheter. If you are wanting easy yarn to work with don’t even think about this. If you want to make a special project where the yarn adds beauty to the stitches then this is for you.Yes, I recommend this product.

2 years agoThis is one of my favorite color changing yarns. It’s soft and works up beautifully. It does knot in itself if you have to take stitches out but the yarn itself is so beautiful that it doesn’t bother me much.Yes, I recommend this product.

9 months agoHelpful?Q: What is frogging?
a year ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out! Frogging is a knit/crochet term for ripping out your project and starting over to correct a mistake. There is a fun reel on Instagram explaining frogging and the history behind the term: https://www.instagram.com/coco.crochet.lee/reel/C2-ZXn2rJdP/
a year agoHelpful?Q: Yarnspirations pattern “Relaxed Pullover” says to buy Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable available in 3.5 oz (100g), 270 yd (247m) balls - but the label on the ball says Ball Size Solids:100g/3.5 oz, 109 meters/119 yards. I am questioning the yardage.
a year ago2 AnswersA: Yes, Knitwhit, excellent question. We need the answer to this, Yarnspirations! All of the previously published patterns, both from Red Heart/Yarnspirations and independent designers, state the old yardage as 100g/279 yds. How can 100g that once was 279yds now have only 119yds??? Did the skein weight change? Were the labels printed incorrectly???
