Questions & Answers
Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 10 of 56 QuestionsQ: How soft is this yarn for a baby blanket
a month ago1 AnswerA: Red Heart Super Saver yarn is made from acrylic, which gives it great durability and easy care—it’s machine washable and dryable, making it a practical choice for a baby blanket. While acrylic can feel a bit stiffer compared to natural fibers, it softens nicely after a wash, providing a cozy texture for little ones. If you're specifically looking for super-soft options, we offer baby yarns with the OEKO-TEX® certification. These yarns are tested for harmful substances and are safe for babies' delicate skin, providing peace of mind alongside softness. https://www.yarnspirations.com/en-ca/collections/yarn?filter.p.m.global.feature=OEKO-TEX%C2%AE+Certified&filter.p.m.global.yarn_type=Baby
a month agoHelpful?Q: What colors make up the Forest yarn?
a month ago1 AnswerA: The colors formulated for our variegated yarns are specific to that colorway and not available in exact matching solids. You may want to consider the colors cafe latter, coffee and hunter green as complimentary coordinates.
a month agoHelpful?Q: I'm working on a 4 color patterned baby blanket, using Green Tones as the focal color. Can I get some recommendations for the other colors? The mom loves forest green colors.
2 months ago1 AnswerA: That sounds like a great project! Since your focal color is forest green, you can complement it with earthy tones that give it a natural feel, perfect for a baby blanket. A soft white or off-white would provide a fresh contrast without being too bright. Charcoal grey or Gray Heather adds sophistication without overwhelming the green. Cafe Latte or Buff brings in cozy, woodsy vibes. For a bit of richness, Flamingo or Carrot can create a pop, and Gold or Saffron would add a warm, cheerful touch. For a more subdued design that still feels dynamic, you can use shades of green and add complementary neutral tones for balance, such as Medium Thyme, Frosty Green, Tea Leaf, and Soft White. You could mix and match these to keep the design balanced and soft.
a month agoHelpful?Q: I am writing about Red Heart Granny Square yarn in Black Dove. I bought four skeins of this to make a poncho. It’s like it has some kind of coating that every ten or so stitches I have to stop and wipe my hook off.
2 months ago1 AnswerA: We’re so sorry to hear that the product hasn’t met your expectations. We’ll be more than happy to try and help as best we can. Please reach out to us at inquire@yarnspirations.com and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
2 months agoHelpful?Q: Do you ship to Pakistan
2 months ago1 AnswerA: We appreciate your interest in our products. Unfortunately, we recently changed our shipping destinations and no longer offer international shipping outside of the United States and Canada. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and are happy to provide you with some alternative resources for obtaining our products. Michaels.com, Herrschners.com, Marymaxim.com and Amazon.com carry most of our products and do offer international shipping. You may wish to check their respective websites for specific details regarding shipping to your country. As always, our patterns are available worldwide for free download at www.yarnspirations.com Thank you for your understanding and your continued support of our brands. Happy crafting!
2 months agoHelpful?Q: I recently purchased both soft white and white yarn trying to color match a blanket I had started with what I believe to be soft white in super saver. I got both and they are exactly the same shade of white. Have you changed the colors recently to be same
3 months ago1 AnswerA: No, we have not changed them to be the same color. We would be more than happy to assist you with your product concerns and have sent an email to you directly requesting additional information.
3 months agoHelpful?Q: Which super saver worsted solid colors would pair with the Aspen Print Super Saver yarn? Thanks…
5 months ago1 AnswerA: Many of the colors in our multi-colored yarns are specific to that item, designed to be unique shades, and not offered as a standalone color. Unfortunately, we do not have a solid ball recommendation, as color choice can be personal. It is also difficult to capture the true color online, so if possible, we would recommend that for best results, you take your multicolored yarn to a shop and compare it against solid colors in person.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: Do you have teddy bear yarn
5 months ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out. While we do not currently have a cinnamon brown colorway, we do have other colors that could easily be used to make other teddy bears. The coffee colorway would make a great black bear. Winter White would make an excellent polar bear. And Cafe Latte would also work for lighter brown bears.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: What solid colors coordinate with Super Saver Stripes Forest? I’m looking for something that matches with the darkest green.
5 months ago2 AnswersA: Forest O'go matches with: 0360 Café Latte 0365 Coffee 0389 Hunter Green 0406 Medium Thyme 0631 Light Sage
5 months agoHelpful?Q: What purple or gold yarn do you recommend to match argyle comfort yarn colorway? I'm looking to add solid fringe to an Afghan.
6 months ago1 AnswerA: None of the colorways in the Red Heart Super Saver are designed to work with the Comfort yarn. We would not be able to recommend a color. Unfortunately, we do not have a solid ball recommendation as color choice can be personal. It is also difficult to capture the true color online so if possible, we would recommend that for best results, take your multicolored yarn to a shop and compare against solid colors in-person. While I would not use them, if you are determined to use a purple or gold from this yarn to go with the Comfort: https://www.yarnspirations.com/products/red-heart-super-saver-yarn?variant=47071453249851 https://www.yarnspirations.com/products/red-heart-super-saver-yarn?variant=47071452528955 I would lean towards soft navy or coral
