Inspired by holiday nostalgia and tasty treats, Mikey from The Crochet Crowd designed this Christmas blanket with rows that evoke the look of piped icing on a sugar cookie. Worked from the center out, this pattern includes engaging stitch patterns and simple repeats with deliciously textured rows of star points and waves. Worked in Red Heart Soft, this festive stunner makes a perfect gift for someone special or a treat to keep for yourself.

a month agoI recently made this one. I used some TLC that had been around for a long time. It was so much fun to play with the colors and see it come together. Not to mention, as usual, I learned a new stitch or two.Helpful?1 – 8 of 89 Reviews -
Questions & Answers
Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 6 of 6 QuestionsQ: Christmas Cookies Rnd 48 What is the TOTAL stitch count for this round, plz? I’ve looked at the stitch graph and written out the repeat in the pattern as well. I’m coming up with 22 stitches per repeat, when including the two ch-1 spaces in both points
4 months ago1 AnswerA: When counting the repeats for the Study of Christmas Cookies Blanket, you should only count one of the chain one spaces to get 21 stitches. The second chain one space is a part of the next repeat. Think about it as the repeat begins with the chain one. There should be 28 repeats working around the row for a total of 588 stitches. We do have a video for the project, and I've marked it to begin at round 48, in case that might be helpful to you. https://youtu.be/iO8D2k4Z4pw?feature=shared&t=1115

8 months agoHelpful?Q: Is there a video tutorial. I am quite confused by Row 23
9 months ago1 AnswerA: Yes, the pattern and the video tutorials can be found here: https://www.yarnspirations.com/blogs/community/sal-2024-study-of-christmas-cookies-blanket-lessons
9 months agoHelpful?Q: Have the typos been corrected in the written pattern vs the tutorial? I've seen a bit of confusion on the Facebook page...
9 months ago1 AnswerA: There are two errors that have been submitted for correction. The recreation of the pattern can take some time. On week one, 7th rnd. *2 dc in next sc. 1 dc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join. Fasten off C. 50 dc On Week 2, 21st rnd. Says Join E, it should say Join B. Once these have been corrected, a new file will be uploaded to the site. This typically takes four to six weeks.
9 months agoHelpful?Q: I’ve been trying to get this pattern for a week. Can someone help me, please?
Anonymous9 months ago1 AnswerA: The emails for the lessons are being sent out weekly. The written pattern link is below the tutorial video under each lesson. We have emailed you again directly with a link to the Lesson 1 page.
