    My favourite

This is my favourite blanket pattern. I have made it 3 times for others, but this time I did it for myself. I used brighter colours and layed the motifs out in a different pattern and I love it. It has come in very handy for the cold mornings that we've had lately.

Q: Could you please give me more direction in sewing the squares together

    1 Answer

A: We are happy to help you with getting the blocks of your Log Cabin Comfort Throw sewn together! The blocks for the sample are seamed using a slip stitch technique which ends up with raised joins. If you like that look you can use that. However, if you like a flat seaming technique, you can use one of those instead. We have a tutorial which features several seaming methods. Choose whichever method you like best for your project. https://www.yarnspirations.com/blogs/how-to/methods-for-seaming-crochet

Q: is there a color conversion chart for the Red Heart Super Saver yarn? For example color 792 is there a newer color code for 792?

    1 Answer

A: Once a color is discontinued, it is not replaced or renamed. You would have to choose another color to use in this project. If it helps, we do have a color chart to help match multi-color yarns with solids, in case you'd like to use one of these instead of a variegated yarn. https://www.yarnspirations.com/blogs/how-to/multi-color-coordinate-list Using that chart, this multi-color yarn blends nicely with two existing shades: 313 Aran and 360 Café Latte. Alternatively, you could search for the 792 yarn on eBay, Etsy or Ravelry stashes.
