    Q: the hat says to repeat the pattern for 5-1\2". what rows do the pattern consist of? i am assuming rows 2 through 5?

    A: Yes, the pattern consists of rows 1 and 2. This is a reversible rib pattern and requires nothing more than those two rows until it's time to shape the crown.
