I have used over 10 skeins of this yarn and have had zero shedding. I am crocheting a blanket, be warned it is going to weigh a ton!

I have done both a crocheted afghan/throw and a knitted one. It is so much easier to crochet with this yarn than to knit with it. I use a size 70 hook (and knitting needles) on it. The knitting needles tend to split off the edges of the strand while trying to knit it. I had no problems crocheting it. I did about chain 25 and single crochet in each stitch across (24 sts). I used the ombre and the coordinating solid, just tied on the new ball and kept going. The hardest part is trying to weave in the ends. I do wish it was machine wash instead of hand wash as I doubt the afghan/throw will be hand washable due to the size of the piece.

I really like how bulky and thick this yarn is. It comes in a good range of colors. I have gone through 2 skeins so far, and there haven't been any knots or frays. However, this yarn SHEDS!!! I got the teal colorway, and I have been finding puffs of it all over myself and my house. Not sure how it'l hold up in the long run. However, still a great value for a super chunky yarn.

love how big this yarn is. wish for higher wool content. this is what i use to make rugs. so thick and awesome! still, higher wool % would keep me from searching etsy for a similar product.

While I love that this yarn is super chunky and comes in some lovely colors, it sheds like no other. I used this yarn to arm knit a blanket and anyone who uses it has fuzz all over their clothes. I will not be repurchasing!

Please do not waste your money on this yarn. I have made 2 blankets and given them as gifts and both recipients have complained about the shedding. You need a lint brush as you are making it and if you decide to wrap yourself in it you will need a lint brush after. For the price the quality of the yarn is poor.
