    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Instructions only mention to chain any amount of even number of chains but they don’t mention approximately how many chains to make to make the size of the pattern.

    1 Answer

A: The Red Heart Happy Planned Pooling Blanket is entirely dependent upon the colorway you choose. We highly recommend watching the tutorial video series associated with this pattern in order to make sense of the planned pooling technique. It is more involved than just using a recommended hook and working the stitch pattern. We have included the link to the first video below. If, however, you’re not using the planned pooling technique and using a solid color of yarn instead, you can simply chain an even number of chains until you get the width you want for your blanket. The recommended gauge for the blanket is 3 stitches per color of the variegated yarn. If using solid, you’re welcome to use whichever gauge you prefer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HBta4vkZLw
