I'm making this with Caron cloud cakes and following the same pattern. It is turning out beautiful! I can't wait to see the finished product.

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: I have a question about the drawstring holes after knitting the 1 1/2" of knit rounds. It is saying to knit 73. Yo. The holes are to small for my drawstring to actually flow through them. Is there a mistake in the pattern? Please advise

    1 Answer

A: Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Crossed Lace Knit Snood pattern. There are no known errors in the pattern. Does your knitting gauge match that of the pattern? This is going to play a large role in how well the drawstring can be fed through. While most haven’t had any issues with this, some have opted to make the drawstring first and join the casing over the top of the drawstring. You could also try using a safety pin that is narrower or using a bodkin to pull the drawstring through as well.
