2 years agoDiaper cover back: When it's time to decrease the pattern does not come out the same for both legs. Please review this. Thanks, KimHelpful?Clarity of Pattern, 4.0 out of 5Response from Yarnspirations:2 years agoConsumer CareThank you for your feedback regarding the Red Heart Crochet Bear Hat and Diaper Cover. We have read through the leg shaping and have confirmed the pattern to be correct and symmetrical. You should have 44 (46, 48) sts according to the size you are making after finishing the ”Body” section. Shape Leg Row 17 (17, 19): Turn, skip first sc (decreased 1 st), slip st in next 3 sc (3 slip stitches will not be used in the next row at all - decreased), sc in next 36 (38, 40) sc, leave remaining 4 sc unworked (4 sts decreased) – 36 (38, 40) sc. The next 4 rows are exactly the same, reducing by 4 sts on each end of each row, for a total of 8 sts per row. If you are making either the 6 or 12 mos sizes, there are further instructions. For 6 and 12 Months Size Only Row (22, 24): Ch 1, turn, sc next sc, sc2tog (1 stitch decreased), sc in next (6, 8) sc, sc2tog (1 stitch decreased), sc in last sc – (10, 12) sc. Each of these sizes has one stitch reduced at both ends of the row for a total of 2 sts reduced. I hope this helps provide you the breakdown of the reduction in the stitches for easier tracking. Please let us know if you need further assistance. -
