a month agoThis yarn took a bit of working before I figured out the tension and hook size I needed to “meet gauge” (I went up to a 7mm hook) but the squares turned out super cute and consistent. I even got 13 squares instead of the 12 it said I would get on the label! The colors did not run or bleed at all after a quick hand wash and soak in warmish water. I am definitely going to get more of this yarn in different colors so I can make a blanketYes, I recommend this product.

a month agoThis is genius. Unlike the all in one granny, these squares don't have to be blocked. There is a lot of extra yarn at the end so you don't have to alter your tension and play yarn chicken. 2 months agoI have been hesitant to try granny squares because I have having to weave in a million ends, but since this yarn cuts down on that, I decided to give it a try. Took a couple of tries to get the tension and hook size right, but then I was off and running! Super easy instructions for completing each square and they work up really fast. I think this is my new favorite!Yes, I recommend this product.

3 months ago1 AnswerA: Acrylic yarns (such as Red Heart Flower Power) and polyester yarns should never be used for exposure to heat as they will melt and burn. Should you wish to make a pot holder, we do recommend a 100% cotton yarn such as Lily Sugar'N Cream. Please note, however, that any textile exposed to high temperatures will burn regardless of fiber content.
