4 months agoSuper easy but it needs a review. Maybe adding wire would work better.Helpful?4 out of 5 stars.Downsize needle and add pipe cleaner.
5 months agoI agree with sizing down the needle... as for the floppyness and unwinding issue... I wrapped mine around a pipe cleaner...keeps it together...and makes it bendable!Helpful?California4 out of 5 stars.Great but needs revision
5 months agoI tried this pattern because I am making an ornament bundle. It is very beginner friendly and works up fast. My recommendation to stop it from un-coiling is to size down your hook. I used a 3mm crochet hook and it stayed put. My other recommendation is to place a slip stitch from the tip of the candy cane to the body (in either red or white) to get it to hold the arch. Otherwise great holiday pattern!Yes, I recommend this product.

5 months agoPattern is easy, but it makes a very floppy ornament. It doesn’t stay coiled and I’m sorry but I’m not gonna hairspray my yarn so it’ll stay together. Maybe if you’re just starting out crochet and don’t really care how your ornaments look this might be a nice pattern to do, but I wouldn’t recommend gifting these things or anything. I’d hate to have to tell my friends and family, “oh, if it becomes uncoiled just re-coil it again” - that’s incredibly annoying. No, I do not recommend this product.

We have forwarded your comments to our design team. We recommend tacking the twists together so they’re permanently attached, taking special care to make sure the bend is also tacked down permanently. Thanks again for writing in! -
