3 years agoI began an afghan with White Truffle and loved it! I found 2 cakes at Michael's and, as you know, they didn't have any more when I went back! Try EVERYTHING! I finally got my other 2 cakes, one from EBAY and one from Etsy. Be careful, though, and check your dye lots. It'll be the year it was made, and don't buy it if you can't see it. White Truffle ain't always the White Truffle you have! The first time I ordered, I didn't do this and got White Truffle name, alright, but it wasn't anything like the ones I already had. 5 years agoI ordered this yarn because it was on sale (score!), and because I had been looking for those colors for awhile for a blanket for my sister. I love the Caron big cakes and have used them for several blankets I have made in the past. a year agoHelpful?Q: Your website currently states this color is sold exclusively at Michaels. Michaels no longer carries it in stores and have to order a min of 4 online. I can't purchase it on the Yarnspirations website either. Is there no way I can purchase just 2?

a year agoHelpful?Q: What colors are in the vanilla bean cake? I started a project with this specific one but of course can't find it anywhere now! So are there options for buying the individual colors in the skein?
a year ago1 AnswerA: Many of the colors in our variegated yarns are specific to that item, designed to be unique shades and not offered as a standalone color. Unfortunately, we do not have a solid ball recommendation as color choice can be personal. It is also difficult to capture the true color online so if possible, we would recommend that for best results, take your multicolored yarn to a shop and compare against solid colors in-person.
