    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: In this pattern is there a typo re: sleeve instructions, referring to the increases, where it says "inc 1 st at each end of needle on 5th and every following 6th (6th, 6th, etc.) you end up with 44 stitches after the 5th row.

A: There are no known errors or typos in the Sleeve instructions for the Classic Turtleneck pattern. The increases for the sleeves increase by two stitches: one at the beginning of the row and one at the end of the row. Before increasing, you should have 38 (38-42-42-42-46) sts as per the size you are making. Be sure you’re only looking at the numbers for the size you’re making. The first increase row will be the 5th row, which adds 2 sts to the count. Then, you will knit 4 rows without increasing and increase on the 5th row. You’ll work like this until you get to the number of stitches indicated for the size you are making, and then change to every 6th row until you have the number of stitches indicated for the size you are making. We hope this helps you move forward with confidence. Happy knitting!
