    Odd name for a color

    POW Purple is a strange name because it sounds like "prisoner of war" purple. Bernat Blanket is the only yarn I work with, period. I'm making a rainbow throw. No, not for gay pride, but because rainbows are a symbol of God's promise to Noah. Rain Glow is the Bernat yarn I'll alternate with the POW Purple. I felt that the blanket needed some purple to look like a rainbow. This could even be a rug in a Noah' Ark themed baby nursery when I sell it.

    I love this yarn. I make scarves for my grandchildren's school's holiday fair. The other children buy them as gifts for family members. I've already started for next year. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. Texture is soft and warm. Love this yarn.
