A: Thank you for reaching out with your question! Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, which means it has been tested for harmful substances and meets strict safety and environmental standards. This certification indicates that the yarn is free from chemicals or materials that could potentially be harmful to sensitive skin. For more information on Okeo-Tex, please refer to http://www.oeko-tex.com. While the OEKO-TEX certification provides a level of assurance regarding safety, we recommend consulting with medical professionals or NICU staff to ensure that any materials used are appropriate for the specific needs of NICU babies. Q: What pink matches the dark pink in pretty girl?

    1 Answer

A: The colors formulated for our variegated yarns are specific to that colorway and not available in exact matching solids. You may want to consider the color lotus in the Bernat Blanket yarn line or the color baby lilac in the Bernat Baby Blanket line.

Q: Is mellow mauve the same color that is in raspberry kisses? What other colors are in that variety?

    1 Answer

A: Many of the colors in our multi-colored yarns are specific to that item, designed to be unique shades and not offered as a standalone color. Raspberry Kisses is one of those colors. If it helps, we do have a multi-color coordinate list on our site to reference on your own: https://www.yarnspirations.com/blogs/how-to/multi-color-coordinate-list Unfortunately, we do not have a solid ball recommendation as color choice can be personal. It is also difficult to capture the true color online. If possible, we recommend you take your multicolored yarn to a shop and compare it against solid colors in person for best results. Or you can use a contrasting color instead.

Q: Will the bernat baby blue blanket yarn compliment the colors in bernat baby blanket funny prints yarn? Making for an expected baby boy.

    1 Answer

A: Thank you for your interest in our products. Many of our multi-colored yarns are designed using unique shades.  We do have a few yarns that have a matching coordinate. If it helps, we do have a multi-color coordinate list on our site to reference on your own: https://www.yarnspirations.com/blogs/how-to/multi-color-coordinate-list In the case of the Bernat Baby Blanket yarn, it make look okay to use them together, but it could look really bad, as they are not designed to go together.   I would personally use Bernat Blanket Lapis or Midnight as a coordinate. https://www.yarnspirations.com/products/bernat-blanket-yarn-300g-10-5oz?variant=47071384994107    We hope you have found this information helpful!

    Q: Roll skein into ball?

    1 Answer

A: This yarn starts as a ball. Just remove the label, push the ends together and pull the yarn from the outside. Use a basket or bowl to hold the ball as you use the yarn from the outside of the ball.

Q: What color pink or purple is in pretty girl that I can use as border ?

    1 Answer

A: Many of the colors in our multi-colored yarns are specific to that item, designed to be unique shades and not offered as a standalone color.   The Baby Lilac would be the closest to the purple, we don't have a close pink at the moment. I might use baby pink just because it would go with the other colors, but my preference would be a dark purple, but we do not have one at the moment.
