4 months ago1 AnswerA: We are sorry to hear that you are having problems assembling the Trex Toy to Knit gusset. Unfortunately, we do not have a picture of the back to share, but this piece appears primarily on the front of the toy. Looking at the different colors in the picture might help you get a better idea for how the gusset is placed, since it it worked in color A. Work the stitches as described using the markers in place to match top edges and matching markers on Gusset to markers on Legs. Sew rem of Gusset to cast off sts of Legs. Once in place, lower half will be completed so you can work the upper body. We hope this helps.
3 months agoHelpful?Q: Having trouble understanding where the gusset fits in tried but can't seem to to master it unable to move on can you help me
5 months ago1 AnswerA: The Gusset is essentially the belly of the T-Rex Toy to Knit. It begins just before the tail, narrows between the legs, and extends up the front of the dinosaur. In the row where there are instructions to place markers at each end of the row, you will want to use locking stitch markers into the end stitches. This will help you line up the Gusset with the legs for seaming soon after you complete the Gusset. We hope this sets you on the right track. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need additional assistance. Happy knitting!
5 months agoHelpful?Q: Head section -there are 66 stitches. To shape eyes increase (kfb) 4 times and once more. That should be increase of 8 stitches. 66+8=74 .Not sure how to get it to 82
6 months ago1 AnswerA: It looks like you have found a typo on the Trex Toy to Knit pattern. You should have a total of 74 stitches once the increase is completed. We're grateful that you brought this to our attention and we will pass the information on to the design team. Thank you for letting us know about this error so that we can update it for you and future crafters. We appreciate your patience throughout this process.
6 months agoHelpful?Q: I’m struggling to understand the instruction to form a tube from the neck pieces. I can’t visualize what you mean
a year ago1 AnswerA: To form the neck tube you'll be folding it in half, hot dog style, and seaming the sides together. You'll be using the cast off edge in the next step which gives you a subtle clue for which edges are sewn together. You'll only sew 1 1/4 inch down from the cast off edge. You'll finish seaming the rest at a later spot in the finishing steps.
