2 years agoYou are instructed to place a marker after row 11 and to keep it in place 6 stitches from the end for the remainder of the pattern. It's not possible to do this, since the pattern continues to instruct you to shape with increases and decreases beyond the marker, it just doesn't stay in place, it's constantly moving after you complete each row, it's not feasible to use the marker, it worked best to drop the marker and just work to the last 6 stitches.Yes, I recommend this product.

a year agoI am attempting to knit this scarf and have found the instructions to be very confusing. In particular, the 14-17 rows and 18 to 23rd rows as listed have made me rewrite the instructions in a row by row fashion. While it make take more writing space, it will allow me to make progress much easier.Helpful?Response from Yarnspirations:a year agoConsumer CareI'm sorry to hear that this one has caused you grief and that you needed to write it out long hand. While each designer tries their hardest to create easy-to-navigate patterns, sometimes it just doesn't work for everyone. This one in particular is written in a way that allows for brevity and reduces redundant rows/instructions. -

Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 2 of 2 QuestionsQ: I find this pattern difficult to follow. Can you give me simple instructions?
2 months ago1 AnswerA: We are sorry you are having issues following the Lana's Scarf Pattern. We can offer the following suggestions: Use a counter to keep track of what row you are on. This could be a counting device or simply keeping track of the rows by marking it on a paper. Creating a list of row numbers and making a mark next to each one works well. I like to include what color I will be working next to the row numbers to make it easier to keep track. The first 17 rows are worked in color B Then rows 18-23 are color A, and rows and then 14-17 are repeated in color B, and then continue to break down the rows and color changes as instructed in the pattern. We hope this is helpful.
2 months agoHelpful?Q: when are color changes made? Pattern appears to use color B for the first 17 rows, is this correct?
a year ago1 AnswerA: Yes, the first 17 rows are done in color B. As you can see in the attached photo, this scarf starts from the corner and has a pretty solid/thick stripe initially. Since there is so much shaping happening in the first 17 rows, it's easier to keep it in one color.
